Beach tennis is a sport played on sand on a court measuring 16 meters in length and 8 meters in width. The court is divided by a net that is 1.70 meters high at the center.

For singles matches, the beach tennis court measures 16 meters by 4.5 meters, although for casual games it is often common to divide a doubles court in half, creating a 16 x 4 meter playing area.

For tournaments and competitions, it is important to have a regulation court in terms of net, dimensions and sand level.
The sand level is also very important for amateur play, as holes and uneven surfaces significantly increase the risk of ankle injuries.

To properly level the sand, it is recommended to use a beach cleaning machine or a bunker machine.
